Early Morning Car Theft and Armed Robbery Target Seaforth Home

Early in the morning, a Seaforth house was broken into; black MG SUV was taken from the property and subsequently connected to armed carjacking in Doonside.



Offenders broke into a Seaforth house at about 3:40 AM and stole a black MG SUV. Later that morning, the stolen vehicle was reportedly used in a carjacking at Doonside. The offenders threatened the driver of a Toyota Corolla with a rifle before stealing the vehicle.

The group allegedly attempted to steal another car. Fortunately, the driver fled. The offenders were caught on CCTV as they used the credit cards stolen from the Seaforth break-in at Westpoint Blacktown at around 7:30 AM.

Police Reaction and Arrest Calls

Blacktown police followed the suspects’ movements at about 2:00 PM and arrested four men in a nearby retail centre. The stolen vehicles were recovered.

The four males, two aged 17 and two aged 21 and 22. They were all charged with offences. Aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence is on the list of charges. Other than that, they were also charged with Dishonestly obtain property by deception, Robbery while armed with dangerous weapon and Steal motor vehicle.

Three of the suspects were denied bail. They are set to show up at Parramatta Local Court, Parramatta Children’s Court, and Surry Hills Children’s Court on 20 February 2025, 21 February 2025 and 26 February 2025 respectively. On the other hand, the fourth suspect was granted conditional bail. He is scheduled to appear on 13 February 2025 at Parramatta Local Court.
