Craving for Thai food? Balance Thai in Seaforth has been fulfilling its customers’ hunger pangs for Southeast Asian dishes since 2012.
Found on Ethel Street, this restaurant has undergone changes in its menu with new dish creations, but it’s still popularly patronized by Seaforth locals and residents of nearby suburbs around Manly and Sydney.
Balance Thai offers classic dishes like Pad Thai (stir-fried rice noodles), Massaman beef curry, tamarind roast duck, and crispy chicken with papaya salad. The dinner menu, on the other hand, includes Crying Tiger (beef marinated in Thai herbs and chili), coconut salmon salad, and a Make Your Own Meal option using your choice of tiger prawns, beef, chicken, and vegetables.
The dishes may be simple, but the chefs meticulously prepare the food to create a balance of flavours as Thai dishes can be rich in spices. Diners may request to have their order’s spice level customised.
This establishment offers both gluten-free and vegetarian meals. Since Thai food makes use of peanuts, the ingredients are carefully indicated in its menu for the benefit of those with food sensitivities.

Balance Thai also provides food delivery service via Menulog. The restaurant is open for lunch Mondays through Sundays at 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dinner is at 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily but it closes half an hour earlier on a Sunday.
